Worker Killed in Food Processing Machinery Accident

A worker was killed early Saturday morning in a machinery accident at the Safeway Fresh Foods plant in Vineland, NJ.

The Vineland Fire Department was dispatched just after 12:30 a.m. 28-year-old Felipe Rodriguez-Tzon of Philadelphia was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of death was not known.

Safeway Fresh Foods is a family-operated business that was issued OSHA fines in 2013 and 2018.
