Worker Killed by Explosion at Soybean Plant

A worker was killed by an explosion at the South Dakota Soybean Processing Plant in Volga, SD Thursday afternoon.
Randy Satter, 39, was a welder working at the top of a storage tank at the time of his death. Workers were installing a catwalk above storage tanks for access when the explosion occurred.
The cause of the explosion was unknown and an investigation continued.
