Worker Dies in Food Processing Plant Accident

A 22-year-old worker died Tuesday morning as a result of an accident at the PacMoore Process Technologies plant in Mooresville, IN.

The victim, identified as Sean Merrell of Mooresville, died of blunt force trauma to the head, chest, and abdomen after being trapped in a machine he was cleaning, according to the coroner's office. The machine restarted while Merrell was still in it.

According to its website, PacMoore Process Technologies is a contract food manufacturing company offering tolling and turnkey solutions.
