A worker at a chicken plant in Accomac, VA was treated for second degree burns after a boiler exploded at the facility on Christmas Eve.

The explosion occurred at the Purdue and Valley Proteins facility at about 3:30 am. Officials said the blast caused a partial collapse of the building.

The victim was flown by helicopter to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. His condition was unknown.
