Two Critically Injured in Plastic Pellet Accident

Four workers were injured when an explosion occurred at a warehouse business in Humble, TX Tuesday afternoon. Two of the workers were in critical condition with severe burns, one was in good condition, and the fourth was treated and released.

A police spokesman said the explosion was caused by a machine the melts plastic pellets to make pipes. The four workers attempted to fix the machine when it clogged. The pressure inside blew melted plastic onto their faces and bodies.
