Three Killed in Chemical Plant Explosion

Three people were killed and one hospitalized after an explosion at the Azot chemical plant in Russia Monday.
The plant is owned by Uralchem, a fertilizer producer.
The Emergency Situations Ministry was monitoring air quality at the plant and said there is no threat to the population.
A criminal investigation was underway into multiple deaths due to safety violations at a facility that produces explosives.
