Explosion Venting Panel Range Now Available Ex-Stock

It is now a statutory requirement in many industries handling volatile materials in pressurized silos or vessels to take protective measures against potential industrial explosions. To help reduce the risk of costly damage being caused to plant infrastructure, or even potentially fatal injuries being inflicted to personnel in the event of an explosion, Elfab has developed its most simple and cost-effective explosion vent to prevent such disasters.

While continuing to offer reliability, high performance, and corrosion resistance, the non-fragmenting Single-Skinned explosion vent range includes flat and domed designs in a square or rectangular shape, across a full spectrum of specifications, to suit individual applications. Where the flat design represents Elfab’s lowest-cost solution, the domed version combines a 70% operating ratio with high stability for applications requiring a medium level of vacuum resistance (up to 75% of the minimum burst pressure). Due to their unique construction, both variations are available in an extensive range of sizes with wide temperature compatibility.

These low-cost Single-Skinned bursting panels are also offered with express lead times to minimize costly down-time and contribute to a more efficient supply chain. The introduction of an in-house stocking program means that customers receive their order within seven days, without additional cost.

As a specialist in the pressure management industry, Elfab’s range of explosion vents can be supplied with the optional Vent-Tel, a distinctive, magnetically-actuated detection system to provide instantaneous notification of a panel burst. This ATEX-approved device is available to retro-fit at a later date to Elfab’s new design vents, if they are initially installed without a detection system in place.
Elfab works with companies across the globe to develop customized pressure management systems for their individual applications.
