Pressure Blowers

Chicago’s Design 53 pressure blowers produce high-velocity air used to convey food items, scrap metal, plastic materials, grain, dirt, animal feed, and bottles from the processing stage to the collection stage.

These fans provide additional cooling and aeration to the materials being conveyed and are available in steel, aluminum, or stainless steel construction.

The fans have a wide performance range, providing 70 wheel/housing combinations, ideal for the vast range of bulk density of materials. The Design 53 blowers have pressures to 91 in. wg and volumes to 18,000 cfm, and are available in eight discharge positions to suit most every application, including high-temperature applications.

They are commonly used in pneumatic conveying systems, but also designed for combustion air, fluid bed aeration, cooling, drying, and many process system applications.
