Web-Enabled Ultrasonic Level Sensors
Self-contained LOE Web-enabled ultrasonic level sensors monitor solids in remote tanks, and can also be used for local tank monitoring applications. The sensors feature Power Over Ethernet (POE) for easy wiring, AutoSense software for hassle-free operation, and can be easily programmed and configured remotely – without requiring any configuration software – via APG’s www.levelandflow.com Web site, and locally via the sensor’s embedded web page. Sensor level data is transmitted to a dedicated Web site that utilizes an open-source MySQL database format to ensure user data is available in any format that might be required of the application. RF Capacitance Point Level Sensor
The TrueCap Model MK-2 RF capacitance point level indicator is designed for level sensing for a variety of material storage applications. The sensor has no moving parts for less wear. It features push-button calibration and sensitivity selection as well as a built-in automatic temperature compensation circuit that combines with the MK-2’s microcontroller to provide automatic calibration compensation. In addition, the sensor has a driven shield design that overcomes material build-up on the probe to help eliminate false material level indications. RF Level Switch
The model LS2000 radio frequency point level switch senses the level of dry solids in hoppers, silos, and dust collectors. The proprietary RF circuit allows the probe to function, even when the probe is fouled with material build-up. Since the unit has no moving parts, there are no bearings to wear out or motors to replace. The LS2000 is a retrofit for rotating paddle type switches, using the same control wiring. Smart Inventory Monitoring Sensor
The Model WC smart inventory monitoring sensor is a third generation weight and cable sensor for use in inventory measurement applications of powders and granular materials. Capacitance Level Control
The Dense Flow capacitance level control is used to detect material in pressure vessels, storage hoppers, silos, etc. It operates with a 110-VAC electrical supply and requires a minimum load or resistor at all times (low voltage applications are available). The level controls are available in both 10- and 21-in. lengths. All controls are sealed and pressure tested to 100 psi, allowing them to be used inside pressure vessels. The standard level control is operable in temperatures up to 150ºF, but custom applications up to 450ºF are available.
