Intersystems Names Schroeder Executive Vice President

Intersystems, a Division of ESI Houston, has announced the promotion of Thomas A. Schroeder to executive vice president and general manager. In this capacity, Schroeder will have complete responsibility for Intersystems sales & marketing, operations, and engineering. Previously, he was vice president of engineering.

Schroeder has been an integral part of the strategic planning and new product development efforts that have led to Intersystems unprecedented growth over the last five years. Commenting on the promotion, Walter C. Greig, ESI’s chief executive officer said, “This is a role for which Tom is uniquely qualified. Adapting a customer centric focus to his engineering and manufacturing knowledge has won Intersystems praise from Nebraska to the Black Sea for the creative adaption of our new and challenging applications.” 

Schroeder has been with Intersystems since 1995 and held engineering related positions with other manufacturing companies prior to that. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska.
