High-Capacity Load Cell

The high-capacity type 740 load cell is now available up to 600 tons. Four sensors now offer capacities up to 2.4 x 106 kg or 2400 tons.

The 740 series, available from 15 tons, is heavy duty. The sensor is constructed completely of stainless steel and features IP68 and IP69K protection classes. Moreover, there is a version for hazardous areas up to the zones 0 and 20. Lightning protection is integrated for outdoor applications. Despite these robust features, the accuracy is high – 0.025 or 0.1% of the weighing capacity.

Loading assemblies ensure proper operation. Accessories are available for all capacities. Each assembly prevents against transverse forces, loads in the horizontal plane, thanks to the self-aligning construction. Integrated in the attachment is a device to make the weigher wind-resistant with one or two bolts. By mounting the attachment horizontal, all requirements are met.
