Capacitance Level Sensor

The TrueCap Model MK-2 RF capacitance point level sensor is designed to provide a superior and stable sensitivity threshold making it suitable for a variety of powder and bulk solids applications. Advanced features of the sensor include automatic immunity to material build-up on the probe by its driven shield design and maximized reliability via smart sensing algorithms like “self-validating” fail-safe protection. The level sensor can be combined with the optional remote calibration module, which allows a person to interface with the MK-2 from up to 1000 ft away from the sensor using an RS-485 connection. The module can be placed near other control equipment. This is ideal if the materials change often and the material characteristics are so diverse that re-calibration is required. It is also useful if the procedures require probe functionality verification on a regular basis.
