BMG Conveyor Services Rebrands as Davis Industrial

Conveyor belt installation, sales, and service firm BMG Conveyor Services launched a new fabrication division and was recently rebranded as Davis Industrial, the Tampa, FL company announced Feb. 2.

“We have been a proven leader in conveyor maintenance, metal fabrication, and bulk material handling components. As Davis Industrial, we will continue expansion on all of our award-winning services while providing world-class products and expert personnel for our customers to know that with us they are getting the job done right, the first time,” said Josh Thomas, an operations manager at Davis, in a statement.

The company, which serves clients in North, Central, and South America, plans to launch a new website and web domain to showcase Davis’ broader service offerings for all aspects of conveying equipment.

Its subsidiary, Industrial Performance Group (IPG), will launch the new fabrication unit in a move that will expand the company’s capabilities from conveyor systems to other applications of industrial metal fabrication, according to the release.

“With this new addition, we were able to bring more quality products and services to our customers and, in some cases, manufacture products that were not readily available to our customers’ mission critical needs,” a statement by the firm’s president and chief executive officer Stephanie Davis said. “This allowed them to keep the conveyor systems operational for longer periods of time without costly downtime. With industry demand and our enhanced service offerings in different vertical markets, it was time for a change to handle the growth.”
