Bin Discharge System Provides On-Demand Flow

The Airsweep system provides on-demand flow of even the toughest materials by eliminating bridging, rat-holes, and build-up. Each powerful pulse of the Airsweep nozzle directs a high-pressure/high-volume burst of compressed air between the material and vessel wall to lift and sweep stalled material back into the flow stream. The patented nozzle design ensures an immediate reseal after each pulse, preventing clogging or material feedback. Operation is quiet and efficient: a typical system uses only 10-20 cfm of compressed air. Installed/serviced entirely from the vessel’s exterior, the Airsweep can mount to almost any wall, cone, chute, elbow, etc. – anywhere sticky materials may cause flow problems. The Airsweep is also highly effective for flushing material from mixers, ribbon blenders, cyclones, and spray dryers. All contact parts are precision-machined from solid steel, allowing operation in high-heat, caustic, or abrasive applications.
