Building on the performance of its PulsePleat filters, GE has introduced SimPleat pleated filter elements to provide a new option for industrial air filtration customers to upgrade more cost-effectively from traditional bag-and-cage technology. The new filters are suited to many process applications such as dryers, extruders, pill coating and tableting, mixers, blenders, packaging lines, nuisance-dust control systems, and bin/silo vents. With a filtration surface area up to four times greater than standard filter bags, they can help upgrade filtration system performance and increase equipment throughput. The new filter elements are available for use in applications up to 180°F.
