Dust Removal System
This dust removal system is designed to efficiently clean highly contaminated bulk materials such as plastic pellets, grains, minerals, and other granular products. Regrinds with dust loads of 20% and more are cleaned completely. The system is simple to operate and easy to maintain. Contaminants are separated from the cleaning air in a high-efficiency cyclone and are collected in a dust drum under the cyclone. The full dust drum can be changed without interruption of the operation. Cleaning air will be returned to the DeDuster after passing through an inline filter.

Filter Plenum Dust Collectors
These filter plenum dust collectors control light dust loads at a low initial cost relative to more-elaborate dust collection systems such as wet collectors and baghouses. Ideal for plastic film and sheet processors, paper and film converters, and others where economy is paramount, the filter plenums effectively control nonhazardous dust particles to support a hygienic operation, safeguard employees, and inhibit dust accumulation in extruders, presses, slitters, and other sensitive machinery and equipment. The PAC filter plenums feature a designed-in magnehelic gauge that monitors pressure levels across the filter media and helps workers determine when dust collector maintenance and cleaning are required to restore optimum operating conditions.

Differential Pressure Control
These two new digital pulse-cleaning control panels monitor differential pressure on the company’s line of cartridge dust collectors. The DPC gauge is designed for on-demand cleaning and is recommended for maximum performance when using advanced nanofiber cartridge filters. The gauge is recommended in situations where only continuous pulse-cleaning is required. Similar in appearance, both the DPC and DPM gauges feature one compact enclosure for a cleaner installation, digital LED pressure readouts from 0 to 8 in. WC, four functional programming buttons versus small dials, and Opti-link infrared communication technology for easy programming changes in the field. Both the DPC and DPM controls can be used as stand-alone accessories or mounted within a UAS starter panel. They can also be retrofitted to existing equipment.

Bin Vent/Dust Collector
The Series 250 Modu-Kleen bin vent/dust collector is designed to vent bins, storage silos, mixers, blenders, pneumatic conveying systems of any type, or any other device or process that must contain or control dust particles. It can meet the most stringent air pollution codes, is controlled by solid-state electronics, and is self-cleaning for minimum maintenance. Built as an integral part of the bag cage, the cone jet diffuser directs a shock wave of air down the entire length of the bag during the cleaning cycle. This shock wave improves the Modu-Kleen’s efficiency when compared to other venturi-type dust collectors that direct the shock wave over only a portion of the bag. The filter bags are cleaned one row at a time, so the unit can operate continuously. There is no need to shut down for cleaning.

Baghouse Pressure Transmitters
The Model DP 20T (differential) and SP 20T (static) pressure transmitters feature a nonclogging design for mounting on the dirty side of a fabric filter baghouse or cartridge-style dust collector. The 4–20-mA transmitters are more reliable than typical tube-style electronic and mechanical gauges. The transmitters feature a large, flush ceramic diaphragm that is abrasion and clog resistant. Both configurations are available in various ranges including 0–10 in. WC, 0–20 in. WC, and bidirectional –5 to 5 in. WC. Construction is heavy duty and all stainless steel.

Replacement Filters
The Standard Main filter is composed of polyester and retains 99.1% efficiency at 1.5 µm. Star-shaped pleats add surface area, lowering the air-to-cloth ratio and increasing filtration efficiency. The PVC membrane filter is ideal for fine powders, commonly found in powder-coating facilities. Because debris does not penetrate the filter’s surface, it is capable of quick release during purging and retains 99.9% of particles down to 1.5 µm. The antistatic filter prevents static build-up and eliminates the risk of explosion when collecting combustible materials. This filter retains 99.7% of particles down to 1.5 µm.

Self-Dumping Hopper
This self-dumping hopper simplifies the disposal of dust captured by cartridge-style dust collection systems. Easier to use than conventional barrels or collection drums, the hopper is offered in two capacities (1 and 2 cu yd) and is ideal for a full range of dry dusts, including those that must be reclaimed or recycled after the collection process. The entire assembly is designed to provide easy dust disposal while protecting against unwanted dust leakage between the collector and hopper. A slide gate and flexible quick-disconnect hose connect the two components, and the hopper lid is fastened with rubber clamps that create a gasketed seal to prevent dust from escaping. When the hopper is full, the user detaches it from the bottom of the collector, lifts the hopper onto a fork truck, and simply pulls a lever to swing the lid open and dump the contents into a larger disposal container.

Duct Gate
The AutoAire cut-off gate automatically opens needed duct branches when a machine is turned on, while closing off inactive branches and machines. This fully utilizes the pick-up power of a collection system by applying as much vacuum as possible, only when and where needed, allowing a smaller fan to handle a system with many branches. The gate allows sizing of the collector system based on the true usage, rather than the total requirement. This can reduce the size and cost of the system. The gate can also eliminate the need to purchase a larger collection unit as a plant adds branches to a duct system over time. It is easily installed in the air-handling ductwork.

Dust Suppression Hopper
The dust suppression hopper is a cost-saving solution for the transfer of fertilizers, stock foods, wheat, sand, gravel, and many other dry, granular goods. It is installed under a feed point where it can be suspended above the target and kept at operating level. At the point of loading or transfer, the hopper concentrates the discharge of dry goods as a solid column through free air into any target repository including trucks, rail cars, storage containers, bags, or stockpiles. Uncomplicated to install and easy to operate, it will reduce hazards and health risks, dust, and waste. It is available in four sizes and made from polyethylene, steel, or stainless steel.

Fabric Filter Systems
These fabric filter systems meet the most stringent air pollution control requirements and provide high collection efficiency and control of emissions, even where high-temperatures and corrosive elements exist. They are designed with the proper air-to-cloth ratio, can velocity, and gas distribution to achieve the lowest possible pressure drop and longest bag life even when exposed to acidic and abrasive particulate. The bags are cleaned by a control system that automatically pulses each bag with bursts of compressed air to remove the buildup of particulate. Particulate then drops into the hopper where it is collected for removal.

Heavy-Duty Dust Collection Systems
These large-volume dust collection systems can be engineered to any pressure and feature proven heavy-duty, high-stiffness construction to prevent housing failures and deliver long operating life. Automated pulse-jet self-cleaning of filters maintains system pressure. Compressed air in 90–100-psi pulses performs efficient, thorough pulse-jet cleaning of bag filters with no internal moving parts. The collectors are custom engineered for highest efficiencies, process material characteristics, and specific site requirements, with a wide selection of material handling as system options. Systems are ruggedly constructed for demanding industries such as foundries, metal and mineral processors, gypsum and cement plants, coal handlers and grain processors, and other crushing, grinding, cutting, sizing, and transporting applications.
