Bat Booth is a personnel dedusting unit used worldwide in mining and quarrying operations to help protect workers from the risk of dust-related diseases such as silicosis and CWP.

In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mideco fast-tracked its plans to install temperature-checking capabilities inside Bat Booth. Integrated temperature-checking would now help combat the potential for onsite virus transmission during routine dedusting sessions, all within 15 seconds per user.

Digitally enabled by Pulse-developed AI (artificial intelligence), real-time alerts, and management reporting dashboards for single or multiple sites, Bat Booth 2.0 was launched globally in March 2020. It is UL approved and recommended by NIOSH.
