pbs0704p34a.jpgThe Southeast’s resource fordry process manufacturing, the Powder & Bulk Solids Southeast Conference/Exhibition will take place April 23–26 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Colocated for the first time with four other manufacturing shows—SouthPack, PLASTECSouth, Design & Manufacturing South, and AMExpo/ATX South—Powder & Bulk Solids Southeast is the South’s most comprehensive industrial processing and bulk solids–handling event, offering processing engineers, production engineers, plant managers, and material-handling professionals direct access to the latest technologies, expertise, and ideas to help increase production efficiencies and product consistency.

Technology from all aspects of the industry will be on display, including conveyors; feeders; dryers; dust collection equipment; materialhandling, transportation, and storage equipment; mixers and blenders; bagging and packaging equipment; particle enlargers and formers; sifters, sieves, and screens; size-reduction equipment; weighing systems and scales; thermal solids processors; instrumentation and control equipment; and components, accessories, and services.

Topics of the four-day conference program will include Basics and Applications of Particle Characterization, Blending and Segregation and Their Effects on Product Quality, Powder Flowability Basics, How to Select or Troubleshoot Volumetric and Gravimetric Feeders to Ensure Reliable Flow, Bins and Hoppers—The Basics, and Retrofitting Bins to Ensure Reliable Flow.
