The microwave mixer is used for heating, drying, and cooking applications. Marion Mixers has partnered with AMTek Microwave to design and manufacture microwave vessel heating systems for the processing industries. Benefits include: shorter batch times, smaller footprint, energy-efficient conversion with uniform heat distribution, and easy cleanup. It can be used for industrial drying applications in the chemical, plastic, mineral, and recycling industries. Designs in this new line include both vertical and horizontal stainless steel tanks, vessels that include pumping and mixing systems, and models compliant with 3-A Sanitary standards. These designs provide improvements to address concerns of manufacturers, such as product safety, shelf life, and global food terrorism. AMTek microwave systems include power supply in 75 and 100 kw output levels with custom control assemblies and recipe-driven software packages. Increased process speeds and material throughput make for processing cost savings.
