KWS Manufacturing’s Rider Receives Engineering License

KWS Manufacturing Co. announces that Jacob Rider has received his Professional Engineer License (PE) in the state of Texas.

Rider’s accomplishment is the culmination of his hard work beginning in college and extending through his career. In order to receive a professional license in engineering one must complete a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited university, pass an eight-hour engineering exam, and work for at least four years as an engineer prior to passing another eight-hour engineering exam.

Rider has been with KWS since 2014 serving as a project manager, exclusively for the environmental division. Prior to joining KWS, Rider was an engineer for Bluff Manufacturing in Fort Worth, TX and WEB Technology in Dallas. Rider received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2009.

KWS Manufacturing Co. is a large screw conveyor manufacturer. KWS also provides process equipment, such as thermal processors, continuous and batch mixers, and classifiers. Many projects include complete system design with hoppers, structural supports, and controls as part of an engineered solution.
