"The board is pleased to have found such an excellent fit to assume leadership of Turck Inc.," said Dr. Thomas Beck, chairman of the Turck Board of Directors. "Aurelio has an extensive resume with nearly 36 years of experience, mostly focused in the distribution and manufacture of automation components, systems and sub-assemblies. His successful background working for firms active in our industry will be an enormous benefit."

"I'd like to thank the board of directors and everyone else involved in the selection process," said Banda. "I’m honored by the trust they’re placing in me and eager to lead a company with a strong reputation for corporate responsibility, design excellence and customer focus. Any leader would welcome the chance to step into this role, and I’m so pleased to have this tremendous opportunity."
