New Evonik Unit Supports Small and Medium Personal Care Firms
Part of Evonik’s Care Solutions business line, the Service Solutions unit offers formulation development, contract manufacturing, and consulting.

Specialty chemicals maker Evonik debuted a new unit this month geared on supporting small- and medium-sized personal care products firms in developing ideas into finished products. Part of the company’s Care Solutions business line, the Service Solutions offers customers formulation development, contract manufacturing, and consulting under one roof, along with access to Evonik’s portfolio of ingredients.
“Our turnkey Service Solutions unit shows that speed, performance, and sustainability are compatible,” Yann d’Hervé, head of the Care Solutions business line for Evonik, said in a company release. “By having one partner from ideation to finished product, our clients can bring new, differentiated personal care products to market faster.”
Utilizing technology patforms and joint competencies, the division intends to boost its share of System Solutions – multi-component offerings across products, technologies, and services geared toward customers’ unique needs – from 20% in 2022 to over 50% by 2030.
Evonik’s Care Solutions portfolio includes sensorial ingredients, active ingredients and delivery systems, and preservatives.
