A blaze broke out Saturday afternoon at a chemical production facility in Westlake, LA jointly operated by Lotte Chemical and Westlake Chemical, according to a report by NBC News affiliate KPLC.

A Lotte Chemical statement to the news station said the fire ignited “near a compressor” at the LACC plant at 2 p.m., promoting a response from Lotte and Westlake emergency response crews. The in-house teams were able to knock down the flames quickly without injuries.

Louisiana State Police told KPLC that there was no impact to the surrounding community. The report did not say if operations at the LACC site were impacted or not.

LACC was established as a joint venture between Lotte and Axiall Corp. Westlake acquired Axiall in 2016.
