Scholarship Opportunities Open Through GEAPS
Another possibility for a scholarship exists through local chapters.

Grain Elevator and Process Society (GEAPS) has announced the availability of two scholarships for industry professionals.
Applications are now being accepted for the Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship and Harold Reese Memorial Scholarship.
The Kaufmann Memorial Scholarship supports industry professionals looking to improve their versatility by eliminating language barriers in the workplace.
Students attending institutions outside the United States may apply if their college or university’s language program is formally affiliated with an accredited US school.
The scholarship is named after Henry H. Kaufmann, who was GEAPS’ international president from 1975-75 and treasurer from 1977 until his death in 1980.
Applications are accepted each spring and awarded each summer. Selection criteria may include the candidate’s commitment to career goals and the case made by the candidate for the proposed course of study.
The Harold Reese Memorial Scholarship is open to both industry professionals and students. The scholarship provides financial assistance to someone in the GEAPS Training and Education Program, and to students at other schools studying grain-related fields.
The scholarship is named after former GEAPS president Harold Reese, 1995-96.
Local GEAPS chapters may also have scholarship availability.
Deadline to apply for the two scholarships is April 30, 2024.
