Canadian educators Mitchell Moffitt and Gregory Brown recorded “The Periodic Table Song” for their AsapSCIENCE YouTube channel in 2018. Since then, the catchy song has generated more than 27 million views.

In the video, the duo takes viewers on a colorful adventure through the Periodic Table of Elements. The tune’s humorous lyrics educate listeners about each element, like its its chorus reminding us:

“This is the Periodic Table/ Noble gas is stable / Halogens and Alkali react aggressively / Each period will see new outer shells / While electrons are added moving to the right.”

If you’re looking for a laugh or a pleasant refresher on the Periodic Table, take a look at AsapSCIENCE’s song.
