K-State's Bulk Solids Tech Center Courses Announced

Upcoming basics and advanced courses are held on the Olathe, KS campus.

Kansas State University's Bulk Solids Technology Center has announced upcoming courses in pneumatic conveying and materials testing. Courses will be held at K-State's Olathe campus.

Upcoming courses include:

Basics of Pneumatic Conveying, Feb. 20-21, 2024 and March 26-27, 2024

This two-day course offers a broad education about everything related to pneumatic conveying. Students receive an expert lecture about each topic, and then take part in hands-on demonstrations using working components and actual conveying systems. Also see lab demos at a local industry lab.

Advanced Pneumatic Conveying, April 23-25, 2024

This course provides a brief overview, and then dives into specifying, designing, and sizing a pneumatic conveying system. It involves a combination of theory, calculations, and practical hands-on application. Also see lab demos at a local industry lab.

Material Properties Testing, May 21-22, 2024

This is also a two-day course that covers the testing of material properties.
