ISPE Launches New Expanded E-Learning Courses
November 4, 2013
The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) has announced the launch of new E-Learning courses, designed to offer pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals the opportunity to take ISPE’s signature training through a convenient Web-based platform. ISPE E-Learning now offers expanded, interactive courses on Auditing for the Pharmaceutical Industry, Basic Principles of Computerized Systems Compliance (GAMP 5), Biotechnology and Containment Fundamentals, with additional courses in development to launch in 2014.
“ISPE is dedicated to providing its members and the pharmaceutical industry with best-in-class education opportunities and is continually exploring new ways to enhance our education offerings to meet the needs of a variety of audiences,” said ISPE president and CEO Nancy Berg. “The new E-Learning courses round out ISPE’s industry-leading stable of training programs, enabling attendees to take advantage of training at times and locations that are convenient to them, across time zones and geographic locations.”
The new ISPE E-Learning courses have been designed as interactive experiences, with pre-class assessments to identify knowledge gaps, links to regulatory information, and final assessments to measure comprehension. Narrated slides, graphs and checklists demonstrate practical, science-based solutions that have been devised by ISPE instructors, who are industry experts in their field of instruction. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to those who complete training courses, including those available through E-Learning.
More information about ISPE’s new E-Learning courses, including complimentary demonstrations and a free module from the Auditing course, is available at www.ISPE.org/ELearning. Information on ISPE’s complete suite of training solutions, including classroom, onsite and E-Learning courses, can be found at www.ISPE.org/Training.
