Louisiana Bag and LA PAC Merge to Form JohnPac

Peter John and David John, owners of Louisiana Bag Company and LA PAC, recently unveiled plans to umbrella their packaging, manufacturing, and distribution companies under one name, JohnPac, effective September 1. The change reflects the companies’ shared heritage and global reach. Beginning in September, Louisiana Bag and LA PAC customers will receive the same products and service from JohnPac, a family-owned, U.S.-based company that has been supplying packaging solutions since 1953.

Based in Crowley Louisiana, the company has been in business over 50 years with manufacturing and distribution experience in the industrial packaging sector. JohnPac manufactures vertically in-house, from granulate to end product, i.e. yarns and fabric for polypropylene products such as FIBCs, small poly weave bags, and BOPP bags. With over 200,000 sq ft in distribution space, the facility offers shipping of in-stock items within 24 hours.
