Arkansas-based firm Westrock Coffee is currently in the midst of a project to increase the size and production capacity of its North Little Rock, AR roasting and packaging facility, several local news organizations reported Wednesday.

The company said the effort is a component of a $50 million financing deal, which will enable Westrock Coffee to expand production of Great Value and Sam’s Club Member’s Mark products for Walmart, coverage by Arkansas Business said.

“We are experiencing unprecedented customer growth that requires our physical plant expansion and increased production capacity,” said the firm’s co-founder and chief executive officer, Scott Ford, in an article by ABC News affiliate KATV. “This expansion will add more than 60 full-time employees, bringing our total Arkansas-based employees to more than 130 and our global employees to approximately 400.”

Westrock Coffee plans to expand the plant’s current footprint of 52,000 sq ft by an additional 36,000 sq ft, according to Arkansas Business. Company officials expect the expansion to be completed by June.
