São Paulo to Host Second Annual Powder & Bulk Solids Technology Event

São Paulo will host the second edition of the PTX South America, a dedicated event for Powder Technology in Latin America, August 6-8. Based on the International Powder & Bulks Solids event in Chicago, PTX South America provides a highly focused regional event for the fast-growing Latin American market. The Sao Paulo event will have 50 exhibitors and approximately 3,000 professional attendees.

The PTX event will be held alongside the 17th edition of Fi South America (food ingredients) and the sixth edition of CPhI South America (pharmaceutical ingredients) at Expo Centre Norte. Combined, the events are expected to attract 15,000 decision makers and purchase influencers.

Attendees will find product technologies that maximize efficiency, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and enhance product quality. These technologies can lead to improved products, increased competitiveness, and higher customer satisfaction.

Exhibitors include major domestic and international companies. The event also has the support and active participation of important of major industrial organizations including ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards), ABEQ (Brazilian Association of Chemical Industry), ABIAM (Brazilian Association of Industry and Trade of Food Ingredients and Additives), ABIFINA (Brazilian Association of Industrial Fine Chemicals, Biotechnology and its Specialties), ABIVIDRO (Brazilian Technical Association of Automatic Glass Industries), and FEDERASUR (Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of South America)

During the days of the fair, PTX South America will also hold an international conference to update participants on the market for equipment and services for storage, handling, and processing of dry bulk solids, particles, and fine powders. The conference will also include presentations of new technologies and applications, analysis of current regulations in the Brazilian market, and clarifications of the requirements for an export business globally.
