PTX South America Offers New Powder Technology Equipment & Solutions

The only event of its kind in Latin America will include the launch of equipment for processing, handling, and storage of solid bulk particles.
Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP), will host the second edition of PTX South America August 6-8. This year, the event will have new exhibitors including: Alston, a world leader in energy generation and transmission and railway infrastructure; Guerin/Tetra Pak, a global benchmark in food processing and solution for packaging; Zeppelin, an expert in storage and handling of bulk products, in powder or granule form; Haver & Boecker, who offers bagging machines; and Semco, a market leader in industrial equipment sector, and postal and document management solution.
By presenting the main equipment launching for the sector, the event provides a great opportunity for companies to increase their production, reduce expenses, improve the quality of their products, and more.

Some of the new exhibits include:

The FilterMax C25 from Nederman is a compact standalone unit for low-volume applications in limited space. The high-capacity cleaning system features a silent and efficient pulse-jet.

The Sugarplex 315 SX sugar mill from Dynamic Air was developed for sugar, sweets, candies, soft drinks, and ice creams. The system is totally compact because air compressors, filters, fans, and others auxiliary equipment are not necessary.

The fully automatically MGT 400 model mixer/granulator from Semco uses software developed according to the customers’ needs. Created to meet the most demanding standards of pharmaceutical applications, this equipment line serves the Brazilian Navy and other institutions.

The Haver CPA photo-optical particle analyzer from Haver & Boecker was developed to accurately define the shape and the size of dry particles. Due to the real time function, the equipment can also be used as particle counting device. This technology also decreases the chances of inaccurate measures.
In Brazil, since 1994, and the first multinational company to enter Brazilian market of trade fairs, UBM Brazil is one of the 50 subsidiaries of UBM Internacional. Headquartered in the municipality of Barueri, in São Paulo, UBM Brazil has more than 60 employees, and hosts more than a dozen trade fairs in Brazil.
