Fire crews responded to a grain dust explosion Tuesday at the Crystal Feeds feed mill in Oakwood, GA, several local news organizations reported.

Called to the Old Oakwood Road facility at about 11:15 a.m., firefighters determined that the blast originated in a transport chute used to move grain inside the facility, Hall County Fire Division Chief Zach Brackett told television news station WDUN.

The dust explosion resulted in some damages to the chute, but no injuries were reported, according to coverage by the Gainesville Times. No flames were spotted during the incident.

Chief Brackett said in the television news station’s account that the explosion was possibly caused by a buildup of static electricity.
