SAMPE Advanced Materials Forecast Forum Ends With a Look into the Future

SAMPE (The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering) invited two dozen executives for a three-day meeting on the future of the advanced materials industry.

Possible trends and projections on advanced materials spanning five to 20 years were made by government, academic, and NPO representatives from diverse industrial markets. Topics covered included geo-political, economic, social, and technical impacts on advanced materials.

The findings of this project will be released at the SAMPE 2011 Conference and Exhibition in May in Long Beach, CA.

SAMPE, a member-owned, non-profit technical society representing nearly 5000 members in 43 countries serves the advanced materials community from education to research/development to manufacturing.
