The Kek Kibbler prebreaker mill is designed to work in conjunction with other Kek mills or as a stand-alone mill. Strong and robust, the Kibbler is designed to demolish large lumps up to 150mm and reduce them down to 2–3mm in preparation for further processing. Size reduction takes place through a combination of impact, crushing, cutting, and abrasion as the slow-speed, heavy-duty beater sweeps product against the contoured grinding screen. The M-Series fine grinder can grind dry, freeflowing material as fine as 200 mesh (75 um) with tight distribution of particle size. It is best suited for heatsensitive materials such as resins, sugar, and powder coatings. Utilizing a high-speed impact principle, the feed material is metered into the center of the mill where it is impacted by the rotor. The feed material is then thrown outward where it impacts with other particles, aiding in the reduction process. After initial impact, particles are projected across the screen and are sheared between the blades of the rotor and the sizing screen or jaws. This action continues until the particles are properly sized and are discharged through the bottom of the mill. Precision tolerances are maintained between the rotor blades and the stationary grinding surfaces to allow for accurate control of finished particle size and distribution.

This hammer mill reduces friable and fibrous materials into uniform particle sizes from 20 to 300 mesh. Centrifugal force causes pivoting hammers to stand at 90° to the rotating shaft, throwing material against breaker plate ridges in the feed section, and then against perforated bed screens through which sized material exits. The shaft, integral hammer discs, disc pins, and hammers are driven by a 75-hp motor at 1800–4000 rpm, achieving hammer tip speeds of 8700 to 19,500 ft/min, even under heavy loads, reducing a broad variety of solid material into particles at high rates. The mill can pulverize wood scraps, process grain, break-down impact resistant housings, destroy ammunition shells, pulverize newspaper, separate rubber from cord fiber, and reduce the size of a variety of other chemical, plastic, rubber, and agricultural products. Screen perforations determine particle sizes.

The Micronizer jet mill is a spiral jet mill with no moving parts that grinds and classifies powders to low and sub-micron particle sizes in a single operation using highpressure compressed air, gas, or steam. For processing ceramic powders, product contact parts can be made from aluminum oxide, tungsten carbide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, as well as many polymeric compounds. The variety of replaceable liners provides protection against wear and contamination. The unit will accept a granular feed size of up to 20 mesh (850 μm), but 100-200 mesh (75-150 μm) is preferable to achieve maximum product fineness and maximum capacity. In most cases, it can mill ceramic powders to 1–10 μm, depending on the material’s grindability. In some cases, the Micronizer can mill ceramic powders to as fine as 99% finer than 1 μm and 50% finer than 0.6 μm.

These radial-knife granulators offer heavy-duty construction, greater weight, and higher capacity in continuous-duty operations. All models feature longer rotors with larger cutting circles, thereby increasing the grate area and ultimately improving efficiency. Each model features knives that are designed with a minimum rake angle on the cutting edge to resist chipping and nicking, retaining a sharp edge longer under severe service. They use fewer knives than competitive granulators, spanning the full cutting length, and thereby reducing the time required for knife changing or regapping.
