Fike to Present Two Workshops at ChemShow

Fike, a leader in pressure relief and explosion protection safety solutions, is sponsoring two workshops at the New ChemShow 2009 in New York. “Axius: The Most Advanced in Rupture Disc Technology” will be held at 1 p.m. and “Safely Venting Explosions Inside Your Facility” will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18.

The primary focus of the Axius workshop is to educate ChemShow attendees about the benefits and performance capabilities of the Axius and Axius SC rupture discs, which feature cutting-edge G2 technology.

“The Fike Axius rupture disc is like nothing else available on the market today,” said Michael Zitariuk, global product manager – pressure relief. “With the tightest tolerances and highest operating ratio, the Axius disc outperforms all others in the chemical industry.”

Fike’s second workshop explores the options for safely venting explosions inside a facility. This seminar will highlight applicable NFPA standards, combustible dust hazards, and effective venting practices to keep your personnel and facility safe.

“The entire explosion protection market is experiencing significant changes due to recent industry events,” said Vince Barreto, global product manager – explosion protection. “Our goal in this workshop is to inform attendees of the changes in regulatory standards and explain some of the latest protection techniques. Attendees can expect to gain valuable information about the hazards of combustible dust and the strategies necessary to protect their personnel and facilities from catastrophic explosion events.”
