pbs0709p4c.jpgRare Earth Pneumatic Line Magnet
This company has improved the magnetic circuit design of its rare earth bullet magnet. Made of welded stainless steel, the bullet can capture previously unattainable fine metal particles and offers a time-saving easy-clean feature in the form of a stripper tube or stripper ring. Ideal for dilute-phase pneumatic systems, the bullet magnet performs applications such as powder and granular materials processing. It can be used ahead of processing equipment and bulk loadout to ensure product purity and protect machinery from tramp metal damage. The magnet stays on the door for cleaning, eliminating the dangers of handling a strong magnet weighing up to 200 lb.

pbs0709p4d.jpgTank-Cleaning Monitor
The SprayCheck TW monitoring device verifies and validates the operation of tank-cleaning systems, works from the exterior, and does not require tank modification. It provides highly sensitive monitoring and complete reporting on tank washing nozzle performance. The heart of the device is an acoustic sensor that is linked to diagnostic software. The user simply glues or welds the monitoring device to the outside of the tank and wires it to a computer. Once a baseline reading of a cleaning cycle has been taken, the system “listens” for any unacceptable variations from the baseline. Its diagnostic tools quickly reveal changes in rotation speed and frequency, spray loss, nozzle clogging, and pressure variation. These features facilitate troubleshooting and problem solving.

pbs0709p4b.jpgPlastic Chain-Belt Conveyors
Flextrac plastic chain-belt conveyors move heavier loads faster over longer distances than standard flat-belt conveyors with load capacities up to 500 lb and speeds up to 375 ft/min. The chain-belt conveyors are offered as standard up to 30 ft long, with lengths up to 100 ft available through special order. These features are all contained within a low 2.41-in. profile (3.03-in. at the drive end), allowing them to fit in tight quarters where conventional conveyors do not fit. Widths of 4–24 in. are available, with a variety of side-profile options for product containment. Each conveyor features wear strips and center supports to ensure long belt life and quiet operation.

pbs0709p4e.jpgCut-Gate Weighers
Replacing an auger or volumetric filler with the Ishida CG-series cut-gate weigher achieves greater fill accuracy and eliminates damage to the granular product. The unit is suitable for dry granular products such as washing detergent, instant coffee, granular seasoning, etc. It is available with 1 to 10 weigh heads and can weigh up to 15 products per minute per head. A load-cell and high-speed feedback control system allow stable and accurate weighing. Compared with auger or volumetric cup fillers, the cut-gate weigher reduces product damage and minimizes product giveaway. No tools are required to remove the weigh hopper and many other parts, simplifying cleanup and reducing cleanup time. To prevent dust dispersion, weighing components are enclosed in an easily detachable cover.
