Eastman Chemical Company Selects Liaison Technologies for B2B Integration Managed Services

Liaison Technologies has announced that Eastman Chemical Co., a worldwide manufacturer of chemicals, fibers, and plastics, has selected Liaison as its managed services provider for all B2B integration services.

Liaison, a global B2B integration services provider, has built its services model on delivering premier outsourced services and actionable ‘blueprints’ to large, complex customers. The availability of a highly qualified pool of integration and data management experts, combined with a practitioner’s approach and best-practice business methodologies, has led to higher productivity gains without a compromise on quality.

“Eastman was looking for a B2B-managed services provider that not only understood our specific business requirements, but could accommodate the various formats and communication protocols of our trading partners,” said Denver Raines, senior systems analyst of Eastman Chemical Co. “After an exhaustive search of best-of-breed providers and evaluating key industry benchmarks, we selected Liaison Technologies because of its unique ability to tailor its services, delivery approach, and support to fit our exact needs. Liaison’s flexible service levels mean we can guarantee to our customers that our data moves quickly and reliably through the network.”

Liaison will provide managed services including message delivery, translation services, and document mapping. Liaison will also manage and monitor EDI trading partner activity through its service oriented architecture (SOA)-based data exchange platform (DXP).

“Liaison Technologies’ experience in managing B2B trading partner networks combined with our ability to provide tailored managed integration services to fit our customers’ unique requirements positions us as the perfect partner for Eastman,” said Larry Mieldezis, COO, Liaison Technologies. “We are in a strong position to leverage our intellectual property and practitioners approach to delivering best practice-based managed services at a fraction of the cost of other alternatives, while minimizing our client’s risk.”

Headquartered in Kingsport, TN, Eastman had 2008 sales of $6.7 billion. For more information, visit www.eastman.com.
