Mettler-Toledo Safeline to Present Food Safety Standards at Process Expo

Camilo Sanchez, Latin American regional sales manager of Mettler-Toledo Safeline, will present “Food Safety Standards” Sunday, July 18, 2010, from 1:45–2:45 p.m. in the Exhibitor Theater (booth 17100) at Process Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The presentation will provide details about the importance of implementing a HACCP program and how metal detectors, checkweighers, and X-ray inspection systems can help strengthen a HACCP program. The presentation will also review HACCP’s supporting standards including those from the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). Finally, it will cover the basic principles of metal detection, checkweighing, and X-ray inspection for the food processing and packaging industries.
