Industrial Magnetics Inc. Doubles Warranty on Suspended Electromagnets

Industrial Magnetics Inc. (IMI), Boyne City, MI, recently doubled the warranty to 10 years on its newly redesigned Suspended Electromagnetic Separators (SEMO).

Featuring anodized aluminum coils with composite spacers and an external expansion tank to collect and control moisture, the new design provides a long coil life and reduces the chance for coil burnout.

Typically installed in above belt or vibratory conveyor applications, the powerful magnetic field of these separators pulls ferrous contaminants out of the product flow ensuring “clean” product and reducing costly equipment damage. SEMOs are available in continuous self-cleaning and manual-clean models and in standard sizes from 24 x 24 to 72 x 72 in.
