Eriez Promotes Blicha to Director - Corporate Communications

Charlie Ingram, Eriez vice president of sales and marketing, announced that John Blicha has been promoted to director of corporate communications.

Blicha will direct Eriez’ advertising, literature, trade shows, and inquiry management efforts, and manage all corporate public relations and promotional activities, including the Eriez Web site and Global Link employee newsletter. He will also coordinate global marketing communications and social media programs. He will report to Ingram.

Blicha joined Eriez in 2012 as marketing communications manager, bringing 16 years of experience as a marketing executive within the software, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. He came to Eriez from Molded Fiber Glass Tray of Linesville, PA, where he served as director of marketing. In that role, Blicha was responsible for the overall development and execution of the company’s strategic marketing program.

Blicha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.

“John brings a great breadth and depth of experience and expertise in business to business marketing that will help ensure his success in this new role,” said Ingram. “His skill sets are an invaluable asset to the company as we continue to market and grow Eriez worldwide.”
