Haver Assembles First U.S. Integra Packaging Machine

Haver Filling Systems Inc. has successfully assembled the first U.S. Haver Integra packaging system at its facility in Conyers, GA.

The Haver Integra is a complete, fully assembled filling system for loose, bulk materials inside a dust-proof enclosure consisting of components such as the filling machine, the valve-closing system, the bag applicator, the control system, the operating terminal, and the discharge conveyor.

The new facility, which is scheduled to be finished by the end of January 2010, is designed to allow local manufacturing and assembly. New machine types will be added to the production process as demand increases.

Depending on the economic development, Haver hopes to add 8-10 people in the production facility over the next three years, including three engineers and two draft personnel.

As a result of this project, Haver expects to add $5 million in revenue to Georgia’s economy over the next 2-3 years.
