Ross Mixing Expands Manufacturing Plant in Florida

Ross Industries Inc. has announced the approval to expand its Ross Mixing Inc. manufacturing plant in Port St. Lucie, FL.

The expansion will add nearly 12,000 sq ft to the existing building. The new total enclosed manufacturing space at this location will increase to approximately 45,000 sq ft. The contract for the expansion will be awarded before the end of the year with completion being planned for mid 2010. This new addition will be the fifth since the opening of the original plant in 1988. Included in the expansion will be a new 10-tn crane extension, as well as additional assembly and finishing space.

The Port St. Lucie location manufactures a full range of mixers and blenders, including high-speed dispersers, dual and triple shaft mixers, planetary mixers, discharge systems, ribbon blenders, high-shear mixers, pressure vessels, tanks and other custom fabricated equipment. The plant is also used to rebuild and inventory the company's line of rental equipment.

Ross manufactures in five company-owned locations in the U.S., two in China, and one in India. For more information, visit www.mixers.com.
