Vac-U-Max announces that Bulk Material Equipment (BME) is its new manufacturer’s representative for the south-central US.

BME will represent Vac-U-Max’s bulk material handling product line in Texas, Oklahoma, Southern Mississippi, and Louisiana, and Vac-U-Max’s industrial vacuum cleaning product line in Texas and Oklahoma.

Headquartered in Conroe, TX, BME was founded in 2015 by Thomas Meade, president/CEO, a process engineer with application expertise that spans 21 years in the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, plastics, chemical, aggregate, frac sand, cement, nonwovens, and pulp and paper industries. BME experienced rapid growth under Meade’s leadership due to his reputation for exceeding expectations, his forward-thinking vision, dedicated customer focus, and methodology. BME and staff provide over 61 years of combined experience.

“We are excited to have BME on board and representing our technologies and solutions, not only for our pneumatic, aero-mechanical, and flexible screw conveying product line, but also our entire industrial vacuum cleaning product line,” said Doan Pendleton, president, Vac-U-Max. “We are confident that BME’s technical and application expertise combined with process know-how will provide our customers the right solutions that will meet their needs and help them automate, expand, and comply. BME is a perfect fit, and they will provide great value to our customers.”

Vac-U-Max’s experience with bulk material handling and combustible dust dates back more than 65 years, with the development of the world’s first compressed air-powered industrial vacuum cleaner for the highly flammable textile mills industry of New Jersey. Today Vac-U-Max is a subject expert in the safe collection of combustible and reactive powders, flammable liquids, and pyrophoric materials. The company has other firsts, including the first to develop direct-charge loading of vacuum-tolerant process equipment and the first to develop vertical-wall “tube hopper” material receivers for non-free-flowing materials. Vac-U-Max is a UL-listed designer and fabricator of control panels that maximize the coordination and movement of materials to the process. The customer test lab is located in Belleville, NJ, and is available for both in-person or virtual tests.
