Firefighters were sent to the Pennway Corp. industrial finishing plant in Croydon, PA Thursday after boxes of powder caught on fire in a piece of industrial drying equipment, LevittownNow.com reported.

Crews were called to the Washington Ave. location around 10 a.m. after the powder ignited inside the room-sized dryer, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told the news website. The fire was quickly doused without injury.

The industrial finishing company’s 17,000-sq-ft facility in Bristol Township houses liquid and powder coating technologies, as well as chromate conversion capabilities, according to information on the firm’s website. Pennway is based in Croydon, PA.
