Crews were dispatched to the Heygates Limited flour mill near Northamptonshire, UK on Thursday after a blaze ignited in a piece of dust collection equipment at the site, according to a report in a local newspaper.

“A dust collector in a machine caught fire, but the fire was contained very quickly,” the mill’s director of operations, Rob Heygates, told the Northampton Chronicle & Echo. “Everybody got out safely and we were back up and running by 9 p.m.”

Over 30 firefighters responded to the incident at the firm’s Bugbrooke plant, the newspaper said.

Heygates Limited produces over 80 varieties of flour for use in bread, cakes, pizzas, biscuits, and other baked goods, information on the company’s website states. The company’s offerings are used by large food manufacturers, supermarket bakeries, and craft bakers.

Rob Heygates said in the newspaper that damages to the facility were minimal.
