Embers from a grinder are thought to have ignited a blaze in a dust collector Wednesday at the MPI Products plant in Deerfield, WI, local news organizations reported.

The fire started at the Golf Drive facility at about 3 pm, filling the facility with heavy smoke, an account by The Cambridge and Deerfield News Independent said. Workers evacuated the facility during the incident.

Crews managed to douse the flames in about 10 minutes, a Deerfield Fire official told WKOW.

Dane County Sheriff’s Office said that one person was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. NBC News affiliate WMTV said no damage estimate was available.

The company describes itself as the “leading fineblanking service provider in North America,” according to its website. The company also provides a range of value-added finishing operations.
