Schenck AccuRate Manufacturing Expands

To meet the needs of its ever-expanding business, Schenck AccuRate, Whitewater, WI, has announced the opening of a second manufacturing facility.

The 9000-sq-ft space has been equipped with overhead cranes and the other tools needed to assemble and test large weigh feeders (weigh-controlled belt feeders) and a new line of alternative fuel-feeding systems.

The new facility is scheduled to begin operation in late July. The new space, combined with Schenck AccuRate’s main facility, is projected to meet the company’s manufacturing and assembly needs through 2010. In addition to the new facility, the company opened a sales office in February and has been remodeling its main plant location over the last year.

Schenck AccuRate is an industry leader in manufacturing and supplying volumetric and gravimetric feeders, weigh feeders, solids flow meters, bulk bag discharging systems, and vibratory feeders to a variety of markets throughout the world. It is a subsidiary of the 125-year-old Schenck Process Group located in Darmstadt, Germany. Schenck AccuRate and other Schenck affiliates have global operations throughout Europe, UK, China, Australia, Singapore, India, South Africa, and Brazil.
