Mac Process and Schenck AccuRate Unify Sales and Operations

Mac Process, North America’s largest supplier of design/build pneumatic convey and air filtration systems, and Schenck AccuRate, a leader in the manufacture and supply of best-in-class dry material feeders and weighing technologies, announced they will officially join forces as one provider in the marketplace to maximize synergies.

As Schenck Process sister companies, the two firms have been working closely on projects since 2011. Effective immediately, Jay Brown will direct the combined business as president and CEO, and Dirk Maroske will assume the new role of chief operating officer. The well-established names in the industry —Mac and AccuRate— will remain as brand names.

The resulting new business will make processes work by offering solutions in pneumatic conveying, weighing, feeding, and air filtration, to a shared customer base of global process manufacturers. In addition, it will leverage the respective strengths of both Mac Process and Schenck AccuRate including integrated sales teams focused on light and heavy industry segments, manufacturing capability, and Lean processes.

“We look forward to the growth and profitability that the combined business will provide, along with new opportunities for our customers, employees and independent representatives,” said Brown. “This is an exciting step for Schenck Process in North America. We’re able to offer outstanding application knowledge, experienced project management, and superior product solutions that meet today’s challenging requirements.”

“Our customers will benefit from streamlined business processes that enable us to be more responsive,” said Maroske. “Seamless integration of sales, aftermarket and test center resources will ensure the best possible customer service.”

Existing operations in Whitewater, WI, Kansas City, MO, Sabetha, KS, Houston, and Milford, OH will remain largely unchanged. Both Mac Process and Schenck AccuRate are subsidiaries of Schenck Process, a 130-year-old bulk material handling company located in Darmstadt, Germany. The Schenck Process Group has global operations throughout North and South America, Europe, UK, China, Australia, India, Japan, and South Africa.
