4 Workers Killed, 5 Injured in Factory Explosion

An explosion at a paper mill Saturday morning left four workers dead and five others injured in the Kasur district of Pakistan's east Punjab province.

A boiler exploded due to a technical issue, according to a Xinhua news report. Part of the factory was damaged by the explosion, and investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the blast.

The injured workers were taken to a nearby hospital. Three of them were in critical condition.

An investigation was underway.
