4 injured in Explosion at Dippin’ Dots Plant

An explosion at the Dippin’ Dots production facility in Paducah, KY Friday night left four people injured, according to to WSPD6 local. 

 

All four of the injured were hospitalized and one remained hospitalized Saturday night.

 

The cause of the blast and the extent of the damage was not known. Nitorgen, a component in the Dippin’ Dots production process, may have played a part in the explosion. An investigation was set to begin Monday.
